Icy Conditions – please walk with caution!

12 Feb

The weather events over the past few days have created icy conditions on walkways, parking lot and our tarmac. Our caretakers are doing there best (daily) to spread de-icer and chop up patches of ice. Please walk carefully as there are also areas of black ice on the black pavement surfaces.

We have also kept our students indoors for recess because of this safety concern. We continue to monitor the conditions of our playground and tarmac before making an indoor/outdoor recess call. Our student and staff safety remain our number 1 priority.
