#EQAOFacts Social Media Campaign

Throughout this year’s provincial assessment period, EQAO will be using social media to help all of its stakeholders better understand how EQAO assesses student achievement of Ontario Curriculum learning expectations. Over a period of three weeks, we will be profiling questions from past years’ tests, showing the link to the curriculum expectation and providing information about how students performed on the particular question.

Parent Volunteers Needed

We are getting new flooring in our library over the summer. In preparation, the ENTIRE library needs to be packed. We are looking for volunteers, during the day, to help pack starting in June. Please let the office know if you are available 905-660-3083.

Today is the last day to purchase your 2015-16 yearbook. Get your personal copy for $21.  Yearbooks are still available to purchase online or by submitting cash and order form to the office.  Don’t miss out!!

 

Camp Ooch Campaign

Our Move-a-Thon was once again a great success!  We’d like to extend a BIG THANK YOU to our community who supported our Camp Oochigeas fundraiser. This was our best year. We raised $9278.00!!

Triple P Positive Parenting Seminar Series – Last session

Spring Concert Tomorrow, May 10

This is a reminder that our Spring Concert is tomorrow evening @ 7:00.  The following classes and groups are performing: Mrs. Derfel’s kindergartens, Mrs. Paul, Mr. Rappaport, Mrs. Cutler grade 4s, Mrs. Gardos, select grade 7$8 songwriters, junior choir, Nothing But Treble and dance pack. Students should be at the school for 6:45 wearing dark bottoms, white tops. We encourage all families to enjoy the entire concert. The students performing will be supervised by staff.

 

 

 

 

 

Move-a-Thon Monday!!

We are getting excited!! Our Move-a-thon is Monday. Pledge envelopes need to be returned to school by May 9 to qualify for the awesome raffle draws. For every $10.00 raised, students will get 1 raffle ticket. All funds raised are donated to Camp Oochigeas. In only 3 years, Brownridge has raised $24,000!! There is a surprise visitor joining us in the afternoon.
