Due to inclement weather, school bus and taxi service is cancelled for today, Feb 28 in YRDSB. School is open. Parents, if your child is staying home today, please report his/her absence on EDSBY or call the school. Please note, if you bring your child to school you must pick them up at the end of the day (3pm). Please drive safely.

Dear Brownridge Families,

1. We know that the present labour disruption is impacting this hot lunch session. We will continue to extend the hot lunch session for any days missed. You will receive email communication closer to the time to let you know.
2. There is no school this Friday, February 21 due to labour action.
3. Safety is a priority at Brownridge. Due to the cold weather our tarmac is extremely icy. For this reason we will have indoor recess to ensure the safety of our students.
4. Lost and Found- All students and families are encouraged to check out our lost and found. On Friday, Feb 21, all remaining items will be collected and donated to charity.

Grade 8 course selection..action required

Hello families of students in grade 8. Today your children participated in course selection for high school. They have been instructed to show you their courses and have you sign off on them. If you agree, simply sign at the top of the page. If you feel changes are needed, please indicate this on the form. Please note that course selection was done with teacher input.

If your child was absent today, they will have an opportunity to choose courses on Tuesday/Wednesday. We will reconvene to review on Wednesday, February 19 so selections can be submitted to high schools by Monday, February 24.
