Come try some math challenges, activities and have fun with friends and family. Each family receives a loot bag with goodies to continue the fun and engagement at home!!! Let’s beautify the neighbourhood- Join us on Sunday, May 5

We are very excited to invite you to a community gathering at Brownridge where we will spend some time beautifying the neighbourhood and enjoying some free goodies. School Council is coordinating a community clean up to make our nighbourhood even more awesome!

1. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! If you are able to contribute any item to the silent auction taking place at the Brownridge Funfair on June 6 we would sincerely appreciate your support.  We are looking for auction donations of restaurant and store gift cards, experiences, camps, events and items.  We count on community support for one of our largest fundraisers of the year so please ask family and friends if they can help!  If you have a donation, please email us at brownridge.ps@sc.yrdsb.ca!!

2. This year the primary and junior EQAO assessments will be taking place from May 21-May 31 for students in grades 3 and 6. If you have any questions about the assessment please let us know.

4. ON SUNDAY, MAY 5, LET’S BEAUTIFY THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AND DO OUR PART FOR EARTH WEEK AND THE ENVIRONMENT. Get ready to make our neighborhood sparkle. On May 5th, we are hosting our first community clean up. Let’s get our parks and neighborhood ready for the warmer weather and help keep our neighbourhood clean. Come join us at Brownridge Public School from 1:30-3:30, to beautify the area, sample some David’s tea, sip on some hot chocolate and catch up with friends. Thank you to the Brownridge School Council for organizing this amazingly important event.

The staff at Brownridge have been working hard to plan an AWESOME evening of family fun. We present to you the first Brownridge AMAZING RACE MATH NIGHT. Similar to the popular TV series, you and your family will participate in a race including challenges, obstacles, riddles and more as you travel from one destination to the next getting your Brownridge Passport stamped along the way. Join us on Thursday, May 2nd at 6:30pm for an evening of Math fun, family fun and community fun. There is even an awesome lootbag provided to each family at the end of the evening to continue the Math learning and fun at home!

The Brownridge Funfair- June 6th- Save the date

SAVE THE DATE- THE BROWNRIDGE FUNFAIR

Join us on Thursday June 6th from 5:30pm-8:00pm for the Brownridge Fun Fair. Lots of exciting FREE activities including inflatables, a silent auction, games, Bounce Entertainment and more. Food will be available for purchase.
